Another roo from the "pullet" bin!

At least you didnt get 11/30 roosters that were supposed to be hens...

I would LOVE to have a Buff Orp roo in my flock!

After all, I have plenty of other breed roosters....... it's that mixed a flock. I love my Orpington ladies with their fluffy pantaloons!

Well guys... When I went to our local TSC in the Spring of 2010, I purchased 20 birds from the 'Pullet' bin... 12 were roosters! I voiced my concerns to them this past Spring and decided to only purchase 10 from the 'Pullet' bin... 7 were roos! How bout that ratio!!

I think most of the problems with the TSC bins are the children and people that 'play' with the peeps and put them in the WRONG bin!!! but they fenced them off last year. didnt they? who knows.

How about GILLIGAN instead of Ginger???? LOL
