Another sex link question...

I read the sticky, but it didn't exactly cover this.

If I use my good RIR roo over Silver Laced Wyondotte hens, this should be a sex link, right? With reddish girls and white boys?

You would get a Cinnamon Queen and, yes, very definitely a sex-link. Pullet chicks will be reddish, cockerel chicks will be white/yellow.

(CQ's are my favorite, btw. They will lay and lay and lay and lay and lay..... Nice birds, too)

Oh thanks. I ordered some Golden Comets, nice birds, and then I thought that why couldn't I hatch out my own instead of ordering them from a hatchery!

So I am going to try it.
