I just realized that almost every pic I have of the coop also has a family member in it (I prefer not to post our pics online). So I'll have to take some "just coop" pics!

I use chainlink with deer net on the inside. The reason is that raccoons will reach through wire fence to pull birds out. If the net is outside, they'll tear it down or pull it up. If the net is on the inside, it stumps them.

It's also a safety measure for babies. Babies will pop out of a wire fence and if there is net on the outside they'll get stuck. If the net is inside, they don't have the chanced to get themselves stuck.

Thank you - I hadn't considered that! We will definitely put the 1/2" on the inside!

Good decision on using 1/2 HWC! Check Amazon and walmart.com for prices, they are usually cheaper than big box stores.
