My husband grabbed a couple white crested blue polish ,weren't really a part of my flock plan but he's polish lol and we had to have them so some chicks were grabbed from the feed store . I've been anxiously reading sexing threads because this breed seemed like it was trickier to tell and so I impatiently waited and watched .
So here we are a quick snap of the two of them now like I said I'm new to this but I'm putting my money on the one with the smaller crested poof as a roo ? They both have obvious red wattles but I'm guessing at this age the crest is the deciding factor when sexing these

I've never heard of sexing Polish by the crest but I've never had Polish. I thought the crest size and shape was determined by different genetic factors. Can you post photos of them individually. One shot showing the head so we can see any combs and wattles is really helpful. Another shot showing their legs, body configuration, and posture can really help, probably best from the side. How old are they? I don't think they are old enough for saddle and hackle feathers to tell us much but seeing whether or not the tail feathers tend to curve down might.

All old enough to go outside if it wasn't pouring rain and cold all of the sudden again lol

I asked because age can tell a person if a pullet should be going red or not as well, or if its a younger bird and it would be a cockerel.

I asked because I think I see 3 maybe 4 cockerels in that pic. Individual pics would be helpful, along with age.

Yes they are indeed a couple Roo's in there I believe at least one of my fcbms . I talked to the breeder I got them from earlier about the Combs on this particular line because both have pretty big Combs but only one has turned really red with some decent size red wattles lol. His reply was yes so I believe one is def a roo of that breed but I'll watch see how they grow out . The other EE and Blue Red Laced Wyandotte are def ladies so that leaves me in question of the two polish :S I'm terrible with my memory and dates I'm going to check my log book when I get home so I can get accurate age dates .

Holy cow I get distracted easily ...back to my Polish lol I got a couple good pics today but I kinda wanted to let them grow bit to see if I could differentiate myself as well . So here they are . I was thinking the first pic was a hen and the second roo ?
