We culled one last night and took the other one that fought with the one we took out into another area. Going to give him a few days and see what we do next. One rooster/cockerel is more than enough for 9 hens. So I advise to choose the one the hens like best and rehome or cull the other two.
Did you already inspect all the birds and the coop for poultry mites? This is best done using a headlight and torch at night as the mites hide in the cracks and crevices during the day and will come out to feast on the roosting birds in the dark.
In case the mite infestation is strong enough this can cause the birds to die of anemia overnight.
