We live at a feedyard where my DH is a manager, in company housing. There are several houses here (other bosses housing) and we get little perks like free housing, lawn care, maintainence, etc....
Well we had one of the guys come around this morning while I was at town and put out ant killer in our driveway on an ant bed
I saw the bright yellow granules as soon as I pulled up, and I don't know if any of the chickens ate any (they are all free range)......but surely if they did it would not be good, right?
I knew the stupid ants needed dealt with, and I do appreciate the guys trying to take care of it for me. It was HUGE and quite obvious from the road--a big red ant pile
I'm sure they were just trying to protect my 2 year old daughter. But am I gonna have a bunch of dead chickens?
