There's nothing necessarily wrong with Buff Orpingtons. They're popular and people like them for their own reasons, which is fine. It's just that they are ridiculously overrated when there are so many other breeds that are just as sweet and cuddly, if not more so, and much prettier than Buff Orpingtons... like my darling Dorkings, for example. That's not to mention other, prettier varieties of Orpingtons that are also overlooked because Buff is the most commonly available variety.

This is a disgusting monstrosity.

This (a real Orpington) is a beautiful beast.

But this is not an Orp thread! This is an anti naked neck thread.
Even though I could rant about hatchery buff orps for years.
