Anti-roost cover

I have a 12*12 Titan Brooder Hen Heat Plate, but they do not make a cover for it. I see other brands that are shaped the same, can these be used? Are they kind of universal in a sense? Any other options anyone uses? Mypetchicken.com has neat disposable ones, but pricey in the long run.

I've learned my lesson after these 5. I'm over scrubbing little poops off the top, so glad they are off the plate. Need a solution before my next round.

Maybe cut cardboard to fit? Every time I assemble my Mama Heating Pad set up I just zip tie a scrap of cardboard on the top and toss it when brooding is done.

Hubby made an order on Amazon so I threw on the rent a coop version, we'll see if it fits. Looks almost identical in design. If not, cardboard will definitely be my go to option. Not sure why I didn't really think of that after seeing the disposal. Thank you!
