Anti Social ducks

Hi there. I have 3 muscovy ducks, Ooby Dooby, Angie and Roxanne and a pair of Pekin ducks, Kenny and Dolly. My black and white muscovy Ooby has been with me for nearly three years and the three muscovies always got on well until about three months ago when Ooby started beating up Angie. I separated them and they have been apart until last week when I reintroduced Ooby back into the mob. Without hesitation she flew at Angie and proceeded to beat the living daylights out of her until I intervened and returned her to her other residence. She has no problem with Roxanne, the Pekins or the chickens, just Angie. I don't want to have to keep them apart indefinately but I don't know what has brought this on. Is it age, envy. I have kept ducks for over thirty years and haven't had this problem before. I just just want then to be able to live together in peace.

That is quite some reaction from Ooby - like somehow Angie is the author of all her pain.

I would keep them seperate I think - have you got any thoughts around extending your flock ? Perhaps you could build another one around Ooby (great name btw).

We actually keep our boys and girls seperate - keeps the peace !
