I have a 2 yr old RIR with vent gleet (also called thrush?) Feed store sold me some Duramycin 10, which is a form of tetracycline. Not sure on the dosage. the package gives a dosage of 200 to 400 mg per gallon. I don't have anything to measure that with. Anybody have any experience with this? Maybe you can translate that into more common measurement, like 1 tsp per gallon or whatever?
BTW, on another thread I asked about my other RIR which I think has ascites. She's doing better but Speckled Hen Cynthia suggested she has an infection as well. Would this Duramycin work for that too? Same dosage?
