Antibiotics and steroids at the same time?

I have a hen who is very weak and can't stand up . . . she couldn't stand before she became weak. She drinks a lot of water and recently doesn't eat much. I brought her to the vet a week ago and he gave me Prednisone steroids to see if it'll help her regain strength in her legs. However, I believe she may have an internal issue causing her to be weak. Her droppings a week ago were diarrhea with green in it which made me believe she may have Clostridium perfringens? I'm wondering if anyone knows if it's safe to continue her on the steroids and give her a round of antibiotics at the same time. I'd ask the vet but they aren't back in office til Tuesday. Also . . . her leg looks pretty similar to curled toe paralysis.

Green droppings are usually a sign of not eating enough. Since Mareks again could be a possibility with this chicken as the one with the lump on the thigh, and the other thread with a leg problem, you don’t have too much to lose to try the antibiotic. It’s best if you know what you are treating with vet care though since you have been dealing with one. I would leave it up to you. Your vet could do a gram stain on some droppings to look for clostridium on Monday.

The vet said that she tested negative for parasites after the fecal exam. She keels getting weak and all im concerned about is if its safe to give antibiotics and prednisone at the same time? The vet hasn't replied and she's declining more in health
