I’m so sorry about your goose. I hope she pulls through this. It’s amazing how they can heal from serious injuries with care an love. @casportpony is the best we have for meds and wound care.

Thank you so much. It would be so helpful to know how much Penicilln G I should give a 10 lb goose. Right now I'm guessing at .5ml. She can barely stand after 3 days......

I think 10 pounds should get 1.5 ml.

well, I think she might be improving, only by the fact this goose is fighting me to syringe feed her, and fiercely biting me. Ouch! She still won't stand up and eat, but the fact she is biting me like crazy might be a good sign!

Hello!
My goose seems to be getting better in that she is fighting me, but she will not eat and shakes and wobbles when she tries to stand. When I syringe feed her, she acts like I am killing her and fights with all her might. Put aim the syringe at the roof of her mouth, but I don't think any gets in, she shakes her head violently and it all goes flying. She hasn't eaten for 6 days. I have 2 more days with the penicillin, which will make it 6 days of shots. Will she ever eat on her own? @casportpony @misslydia
