Antique incubator--1903

A friend of mine sent me this picture taken in the mud room of a Custer County NE sod house. Amazing! Thought those of you who love hatching might enjoy seeing it.

Intrsted to see how it works. I also got one sorta like that definantly not that old but it was also same metal and it was round. The chord was sketchy so I never really got to try it but it was cool.

I asked my friend if it was electric or kerosene or what, but she didn't notice. But a quick google for "antique incubators" turned up several kerosene models, but not this exact one. Fascinating!

Wait--just found this: 1903-the-old-trusty-incubator-antique-bator-share-question.490666. Sounds like it was a kerosene model.
