Antique Incubators And Brooders

Heres' the pics the units. One is an incu and the other two are brooders from Sears.

It appears I may be missing the burner to the incubator. I don't know if my SIL's father has it somewhere or not. As you can see it has two doors, one opens to a viewing window the other so you can slide the egg tray out. It does appear to have been used at one time. I do have the instructions but not sure I can find a replacement "burner". I also have no legs so it would appear this is a table top model. The sides are not solid wood but a heavy cardboard. It certainly must have taken a lot of skill to get this to work and probably had a poor hatch rate. It looks as though it was painted with a redwood paint judging from the front.

As you can see this brooder has a red light though I'm not sure what it's for. I have no paperwork for either brooder. Each has a "wafer" on in the middle of the top and the other on the side. The muslin curtain is held on with clips and has a wire hemmed through the top.
