As I was cutting bell peppers to make stuffed peppers, I found these inside one.

It's almost as if two other peppers were trying to grow inside. Theories?

i've seen tomato seeds sprout inside a tomato before too. pretty cool!

The lower level of the George Washington Bridge doesn't allow trucks. This is what happens when one tried to sneak through!

The cop who's always on duty here either didn't care or missed the notification -- the truck made it across the bridge without a ticket!

Or they will mail a ticket to whoever the owner of the toll meter is for that truck maybe? Prolly faster than backing up traffic to pull them over.

It was a small step van, so maybe. I've seen trucks get escorted off the bridge for trying to go on the lower level, though. I believe it has to do with safety; they don't want trucks to potentially have fires or other issues in such an enclosed place.

The district superintendent was visiting our school today, so we were asked to keep decorations up. My students made quilled snowflakes. Most proudly took them home, but the ones that were donated went on the mini trees in my room.

Those are so cool! I may have to try that! I've always loved the idea of quilling but lack the inspiration and ideas.
