There are lots of tutorials and suggestions online! The second part of our quilling unit was to create a picture using quilling shapes. The best was an owl.

It sure seems like more when it takes me 30 minutes to drive 6 miles to work…

Takes me 40 minutes to go 12 miles, almost twice as fast as you! I feel your pain with traffic. I leave my house at 6:15 am to avoid the worst of it.
