I had this ready to go, but never actually psoted it yesterday!

2 eggs today, suspiciously pullet-sized. There are an olive egger (obvious!), Wyandotte, Barnevelder, and Welsummer. Guesses on who laid the brown one?

That was my first thought, too. But they are hatchery quality, so I was second-guessing myself. I can't wait for them all to be laying! It will be easier to tell then.

My wyandotte eggs have always been a very pinkish tan. Granted, I've only had two wyandottes so not really a significant sample size. And pretty much every welsummer egg I've seen has been at least slightly speckled. I'm going to guess the barnevelder.

It was supposed to snow overnight. It didn't. But the storm eventually came, and this is what we've got! I guess it's still winter.
