I have ants for days. They're absolutely everywhere. What's the best way to get rid of them without using chemicals that could hurt my chickens?

There is a powder at tractor supplh cant remenber name that kills ants and mites and safe for chickens

Sevin dust?
I've tried that and diatomaceous earth but it doesn't seem to be potent enough to destroy the whole colonies. It'll kill a few but it won't be long til a new colony pops up.

I use DE (food grade) on my coop floor and let the chickens scatter it for me. It even takes care of ants (who were getting in the scratch) and no harm to anybody except insect pests. I even put some on a tea towel and then rub my dogs and cats with it. It's fabulous stuff. Not expensive either.
