Ants

I noticed that in my duck’s coop, there are a whole bunch of ants. I don’t want them to harm her so I was wondering what are some effective ways i can remove them without possibly harming my duck?

We sprinkle food-grade diatomaceous earth around our house to keep the ants out. It works great. The food grade kind is in most of the feeds so they eat a little of that every day most likely.
