I'm so sorry you lost your little chick, and I hope the other recovers. It's so difficult when it feels like you're waiting for them to die...my daughter had a pair of English Parakeets that caught cold...it was dreadful. I hope your baby perks up!

On the bright side, the pictures of the healthy ones are so cute! Caramel is a beautiful bird!

it is almost like i need to put leg braces on the one" tiger" is her/his/.. name.. her toes are straight the bubly seems to be gone from teh breathing.. she getss around quite wel on her hocks but it is making sores on her little.. um.. i want to say knees but i'm sure that is not right. seh always seems to lean on one foot. the other the ankle turns down still. .. might try puttin the bandaids back on her ankles but the other chicks might run over her. bad enough that they already do. gotta get them out side in a pen for a bit per day so that the wee one gets some alone resting time..
