Anxious Roo

We have our roo mutt separated from our pullets who are 11-17 wks. He does have a companion, but he's still trying to find a way to get in with the others. How old should our pullets be before I put the roo in with them?

My roos stayed with the girls from the time they were hatched. At about 10 to 12 weeks the boys hormones kicked in and they drove the girls crazy for awhile. All the two boys wanted to do was mate, yet they hadn't quite figured the whole thing out yet. It was like having two teenage boys crash a girl's only slumber party.
Once the girls got to laying age, they stopped fighting the boys advances and everyone was fine; with the girls none the worse for wear.
