Anxiously awaiting ducklings

Attached to the box they came in was my invoice along with some care instructions and precautions about handling. The paper also mentions that the green leg bands are on them because they were identified & sexed.It also says to cut the bands off within three days. They appear to be tiny rubber bands. I will snip them very carefully off tomorrow!

I snipped off all of the ducklings rubber bands today! They were a little traumatized at being picked up...I am trying to handle them regularly so that they aren't as spooked. They were rewarded with tiny bits of fresh lettuce in their waterer.
I used a tiny pair of scissors that came with a manicure set that I had, they worked perfectly!
