Hi there,
I’m new to this chicken and duck business as well. I have 4 ducks and 7 chickens. If I get any other bird, it will be a peacock. It is exciting, but yet, lots of work and care to own so many feathered friends.
Lol, I’ll admit, I fell in love with my ducks at first sight. They keep me entertained and I have a soft spot for them. Beautiful birds!
BUT I must not be so bias, and leave room in my heart for the chickens. I treat them the same, but ducks are definitely, well, my favorite.
This weekend, I should be done with their coops and spacious, chicken - wired homes.
