Any ABA Judges Out There? I need showing opinions on these BB Reds.

BB Red Rosecombs should have blue/slate legs. That said they really aren't that good even if their combs & leg colour were right.
For what it's worth the term is single comb not straight comb. If you want to show learn the language.

and if you're just looking for someone to talk down to I suggest you look somewhere else. I asked for help, not cheap shots about learning the language.

I think if you take another look at the photos of the rooster you'll find that the leg color and the comb are both correct.

You asked for a judge's opinion and you got it. Just keep in mind that typed words on the internet don't carry a person's tone or inflection so emotion, humor, sarchasm, etc can certainly be 'lost upon translation'. I don't think NYREDS was trying to be rude to you. Seems several people here are pretty sharp eyed and pointed out some issues with these birds. Just go from there to improve if this type appeals to you. Take some better photos if the shank color is off.

Excuse me, I asked for comments on the birds and I appreciate them. What I didn't appreciate is having the comments turned personal and directed at me. Don't get me wrong, I don't mind being corrected as I'm here to learn like most everyone else is, but I won't be talked down to and rude comments such as "If you want to show learn the language" won't be tollerated by me and shouldn't be tollerated by anyone else either, there's no call for it.

Well, I won't argue with you further but I don't think he was trying to be mean to you. I too am learning and part of that is proper terminology (and spelling, etc) as well. Try to just chalk it up to part of the learning process!

Your OP said the male has green legs-go back & check. I assumed you meant green when you said green. IF he has green legs they're wrong. If they're slate they're right but he's still not a very good bird. Yes he has a rode comb but it's not a well formed ROSECOMB rose comb. His lobes are too small & have too much red in them [also true of the female. The female, does not have good BB Red colour. She's frosted around the edge of her feathers or so the picture appears.

Also sorry if you hoped to hear you had wonderful birds, you don't. They're cross bred Banties, nothing more.
As to what you'll "tolerate” it’s an open forum & like other forums you run the risk of sometimes getting an answer you don't like. There's an old saying "if you're not sure you want the answer don't ask the question".
