any advice for this time around?

haha..it IS very exciting. I moved some of my eggs over to the new incubator today so I figured "uh, what the heck, I'll give em a quick candling'

For the most part all the turkey eggs had a lot of movement, same thing as you...I saw little feet. Looked like they were dancing

Two of them I didn't see anything moving though, I don't have a good feeling about those little guys.

:D It's nice to have someone share my excitement. Everyone that knows me is like okay it's an egg. It's not an egg it's an egg with a chick in it.
Hopefully the eggs that you ahve that don't have movement will still hatch. Maybe they were just sleeping right then.

I've had to start my lock down. I candled my eggs for the last time and went to lay them all on the screen instead of being in an egg carton. One of the chicks looks like it broke into it's aircell already. So i've started the lock down tonight. Added a diaper soaked in water to the incubator to bring it up to 65% humidity. :) I'm excited i think one might hatch early.

I hope you're not talking about a disposable diaper, blegh. Those things are laden with chemicals and toxins.
I was wondering that too. I've read some people use maxi pads (um, eww) but those would have chemicals in them too. I'll stick to sponges i think.

Nothing yet. I haven't messed with the eggs other then looking in the window of the incubator after seeing that. It's hard to leave them alone. I want to check them but I know better.
