Artwork, sorry -- are nonliving things like fancy objects or abstract art allowed? I ask because most of the artwork that I've seen on this thread has been of characters.

Oh, no, the artwork isn't just tv or game characters, that's just what some of us prefer to draw, any art is allowed, I also do digital, and I love it!
