TLOU show coming out on HBO has given me the motivation to finish some of my wips so I can draw fanart. I’m so excited, it was such a beautiful game and I can’t wait to see what all they’ll do with it. Judging by the first ep. plus trailer, they’re following the game almost exactly. I’m fanboying so hard over it lol.

But anyway, here’s an OC thing I finished that I’m really really proud of. Took me 14 hours lol.

I had the song Zydrate Anatomy playing on repeat most of the time I worked on this, so I think it ended up being a prettying big influence lolol.

did these turtles for fun and ended up playing around with the colors and saturation. my head hurts just looking at them (especially lime green donatello, i'm gonna have a stroke) but i do like it quite a bit

like seriously. shoutout to the boys in my class in 3rd grade for having impeccable taste. teenage mutant ninja turtles? banger. lego ninjago? epic. star wars the clone wars? straight up fire. and poor little me had no idea what those were

ANOTHER EDIT: OH also my friend commissioned me to draw their Les Misérables-inspired OC, Maurice, who lives in the sewers of Paris

Anyway. Even though it's the first days back to college for me, I have like nothing going on so that's nice

I haven’t either since I can’t get it for a reasonable price on my PC. : ( But I love watching all the play throughs and lore stuff. It’s actually a zombie thing that is/could be real, which I find terrifying, lol.

By the way did you see the Amazing Maurice is being adapted as a cartoon?
I loved the Amazing Maurice and His Educated Rodents and think it’s one of the few books that actually should be adapted, and props to them for animating it, which I think needs to be done with other books that they made live action and made Nightmare Fuel.
The only problem is I don’t like the animation style at all. Maurice is supposed to be a great tom cat and what is this?

Hopefully it still keeps the dark tone of the book but with that face… I just can’t imagine! Where is the complexity?

I guess I shouldn’t have been surprised but there is amazing fan art for the book online!?

Why did no one tell me of it's beauty?? Anyway, I had a dream about it last night and wanted to learn the art style so that I could make my own OCs from it...

I sell some designs on redbubble but I plan on making/selling on my own in the future. I have a cricut, I just need some good sticker paper.

Nah, they are from another show. There's been 3 different reboots of the original 80s/90s cartoon, I drew the 2012 and 2018 versions if they met in a Spiderverse-type situation, haha. There's also the 2003 one that I still need to watch. But from what I can tell and what I've seen so far, all 4 shows are a fun watch.

Yaaay! I love Gravity Falls so much and I was in the same boat as you. I binged it for the first time 2 summers ago; it was #1 on my list of cartoons to watch, and the rest has been history! In my mind, Gravity Falls has become the grandfather of modern cartoons. There's so much stuff out there inspired by it; with people who worked on that show going on to make shows of their own.
As for the art, I'm not good at giving advice but it looks great! Keep practicing!

Anyway. Sorry for all my pointless and off topic chatter, I have what's called Autism... All the cool kids have it these days

The oracle is a vulture? Love it. My favorite detail is the lady vulture picture that alludes to a rough backstory.

Never saw the 2018 version so I looked it up. The pecs on the 2018 version are definitely an interesting choice.
