Ohhh, I bet I have way earlier drawings, but maybe that's just cause I've got a hoarding problem.

Thanks but it’s one of a kind! You can tell it’s legit cause it’s held together by zip-ties and has Franklin County Planning Commission papers between the pages!

Very true.
I’ve drawn several things that I very much disliked, and had someone tell me they were awesome. Then I was like “But- but they’re not.. see? Mistake here here and here.”

The thing is, YOU see the mistakes and know they're there. Others don't. Or they might, but they look at them as part of a piece. They don't know they're mistakes unless they're glaring or they're an art critic. There are flaws in every piece I finish, but at some point you have to say "this is the best i can do without messing it up" and walk away.

This is a painting I did for my neighbor. His favorite Silkie Rooster had passed away by accidentally drowning in a bucket of water so I did this for him. I put it in a chicken coop themed frame and gave it to him. His name was Ralph. I had started sketching him when he was alive but never finished but I did now! I took a pic before I gave it to him!

In the interest of sharing in the self-flagellation, a couple of my earliest known pieces (courtesy of a book my Mom made me when I got married)

Unknown age, I kinda remember this being kindergarten-ish. No idea why I would draw a rabbit, may have been a Sunday School Easter thing.
