Any artists out there?

This is a complicated subject and there's not a hard and fast rule. Lots of variables impact the prices of art. Things like name recognition, exposure, subject matter, format (like digital vs physical), availability, and even trendiness and whim all come into play. I'll give you a bit of a brain dump based on my experiences with various types of art. Hopefully they can at least get you started down a path.

If they're digital art, flat rate per hour. Say it takes 2 hours to create one of these and you charge 10 bucks an hour, that means 20 bucks. Most Graphic design shops run 60-90 an hour depending on the work involved, so you're not crazy at 10, 20, maybe even 30 an hour if you can get it (this si where being an established artist and having some recognition helps. The better you are known, the more you can charge). Printing costs are separate and you price those at 200% cost of materials or a minimum rate like another 10 bucks for 2 8x10 hi res print.

For hand drawn art, Price them by size and time. A certain amount per square inch of the size with your time added in to that price. So for example, let's say you charge 50 cents per square inch and the drawing is 5x5 inches. (max height and width, you don't have to know each and every little curve's surface area here)

so 5x5 is 25 square inches. so at 50 cents per sq in, you'd be at 12.50 for that. Now, how much time does it take? Add that at a flat rate. Say you charge 10 bucks an hour and it took an hour to complete. Now you're talking 22.50.

These are just example prices. You might try and see if you can find some similar work on etsy and get a range from artists doing the same kind of creative work you are. Then fins what seems like a sane price point you are comfortable with in that range and start there. You can (and likely will) adjust as you progress and learn what your fans will tolerate.
I don't charge by hour. I just charge by type(headshot, fullbody, etc..)

Would tis be a one shot or a two shot?
The Prophecy
(prologue)

It was many years after the war between Hylia and Demise ended, that the fair goddess was wedded to the Chosen hero, Red, It was said that a year after, Hylia’s divine blood would be passed down to her one and only son, Sky.

Although, there was one being who did not know of this, a fellow deity by the name of Fierce.
Fierce did not quite understand how someone as divine as Hylia, could fall into love with a... mortal, such as Red, and not himself, someone as equally divine and powerful as she was.
He eventually came to terms with knowing that it was Hylia’s choice and not his own, although this still bothered him from time to time, he knew Hylia still loved him, but as a “friend” as she put it, after all, who could love someone whose power was of wrath and war.

Born to greatness
(chapter 1)

It was a long hard night for our chosen hero and his wife, as the fair Hylia was to have her first child.
Red paced the floor outside the bedroom door, worrying about his beloved wife, her voice sounded of pain, and it filled him with an agony of his own, “would she be okay,” he thought, then turned to the window, yet he saw nothing but the dark starry sky.

Several hours, later Hylia laid in bed exhausted...
Yet, she didn’t seem to mind, she looked at her beautiful son lying asleep in her arms and couldn’t think of anything else.
Red walked in and saw his tired wife and son, “Hello,” he said gently, “whom might this little one be?”
She replied gently as well, “This is your son, Sky.”
“Hello, Sky,” Red gently whispered and lightly touched the small child.
That would be the first two chapters (technically) of a multi-chapter fanfiction -- also sometimes called a long-shot.
I should have specified, sorry -- two-shots are complete stories/fics that are two chapters long, like how one-shots are complete stories/fics that are a single chapter.
Also, excellent writing!

That is so helpful! Thanks again Sapphy! :hugs
Now I can officially say, I am writing a one-shot fanfic based on fireman sam!
You're welcome. Good luck!
