Started this the other day:
Still have yet to finish the hair, (edit: and many other things) and I'm going to paint it on a canvas in the future, so this is only a practice sketch.

What do you guys think?
I've only done a couple paintings so I'm going to keep things simple and leave out the flowers.
Any tips for the background? I haven't much experience with that sort of blurring the paint colors together

We did something similar in painting class. We learned to make smudges and the smudges kind of overlap for the gradients, rather than mixing the colors together.

Anyone got any ideas for random sketches? Things I could practice sketching out?
I won't be leaving the house because my grandmother is in a terrible mood and doesn't want anyone other than my mom over at her house. I'm kind of bummed so I've decided to do my art live stream another day.

Yeah he really doesn’t look like your typical cat. Nice beard tho. Do you always use the same art for coloring in or do you draw a new one every time? I draw a new one, but that’s because that’s most of the fun in drawing for me.

I always draw a new one! I agree, that's the most fun part! I do have a very distinct style though!
