Any artists out there?

Oh memories 😔

I actually find the way you place the wings on the back way more appealing than on the shoulders. It seems more anatomically correct if they were on a person. Plus the balance would be really odd if they were positioned up there. :3
I also found this:

it may not be Kipps exact anatomy but the idea is there :p
Ahh yes this is similar to my thinking. Though I think over all I've hidden the muscles he'd need, in the ever so slightly more feminine torso.... I was aiming for less bulk means smaller wings.

Oh my, Thank ye all!

:D I'm still mad his feathers got cut up, and I did that myself.

Initially I think they were higher, but then I lowered them to not interfere with the use of his arms. I was looking at bird bone structures today, and realize now that this would put bones running through his organ cavity. I think I'm ok with that... I may have to alter the structure just to make it semi-functional But I do like it better lower. I'm hoping he isn't too top heavy. XD

Oooo Ye you should! Winged peeps are great! Though... difficult to draw.
Okay! :D Welp, in the meantime, here are two versions of a female night fury in my opinion.
(Purple eyes.) (My personal choice.) Not the way Dreamworks would do it, though they are pretty.

And, green eyes. Just like how Dreamworks *Should* have done it.

Difficult for a bird expert, ha! (Depndiing if I actually get to it lol!)

Alright, here is a study as promised, whipped in up in less than five minutes I think! :D
Mostly bald eagle wings. And some Thunder.
I've done way better tails in the past though......😒.

Anybody, please feel free to learn something new from this lesson! 🤗 .
(I've still gotta work on giant ride-able Thunder, and learn to race on him.) (My own wonderful idea!. :))
