By the way, what gave you the idea for an Irish Korean mix?

I've always loved a good ol' Irish accent, and I needed to incorporate Japanese in there for the anime part, so it was a perfect mix!

I was trying to figure out what she looked like. I kind of felt she was east Asian, with no real specifics. I knew she'd like cool looking armour that meant something to her, so that narrowed it down to Japanese, or Korean for me. I felt Japanese was far too detailed for me to draw, so I went for Korean. Then I looked up her last name, and it's apparently old Irish royalty... which was accidental.


Her name, I initially was trying to find something that could be shortened to Rory. Then it turned into her last name. I've had that name for her longest so I couldn't just change it.

Once you get used to something and it sounds good, then it is hard to change. No matter how much you try.

In an anime I like, there is a character who is part German, part Japanese, so I wanted to do the same thing, but with my own twist! Simple as that I suppose... But, I do watch a whole lot of old detective shows as well, so that may have been an influence too. (Pointing to the long coat )

I've been working on a new character today. She's existed for a while, but I hadn't put any effort into developing her. I learned new things about her today so I thought I'd give her a draw.

Her name is Ophelia Roark She's half Korean, and Irish.

While she's playing a videogame where you're actually uploaded into it, she pretends to be a guy, hiding her face. Mostly to fly under the radar, but also to avoid specific people who she doesn't get along with. So you get her in 2 outfits.

(I had to fix a thing I missed, if anyone already saw it uploaded.)
