Any artists out there?

That looks super cool! The shading looks GREAT, especially for someone who 'hasn't shaded in forever'
Thank you! I tried a lot of new things this time. I’ve never tried an open mouth before so that was...HARD. But it was actually kinda fun you know after getting over my crippling perfectionism XD.

Considering adding some peafowl to my fantasy farm. I'm worried about getting straight run peachicks and ending up with a bad male/female ratio.

You know, if you're the sort to eat your animals my mom had a medieval cookbook with a bunch of recipes for royalty. One of them was a stuffed, roast peacock where they skinned it, roasted it, then put the skin back on so it looked like it was still covered in its beautiful feathers before serving it to the royalty.

Uh-
I know that if I want to realistically have a farm, hobby or not, I will have to bring myself to terms with culling birds. However, I don't think that I would be able to put the skin back on a bird so it looks like I"m just eating it alive

XD I dunno, it was less macabre than the camel stuffed with sheep stuffed with pheasants stuffed with quail.
Uh...what??!?!?!?! I think that I'll pass on these *quality* recipes for now
That said, also totally fair. Really, I'd be more concerned about the food safety myself... How would you ever sterilize the skin?
I didn't even think about that. I don't think that there's a good answer... pretty sure that medieval royalty wasn't too concerned about food safety
