Looked pretty flat to me. I ended up changing it a bit. I like it now.

I painted my mom one of our ducks, Mako, for Mother’s Day. Doing her feathers was so much fun.

The background didn’t turn out how I wanted it (the green is too solid up top) but other than that I’m proud of how it turned out. :3

The canvases at Hobby Lobby are on sale this week (50% off!) so I just picked a few more up. One 12 x 24 and a pack of 2.75 x 2.75. I’m hoping to paint my fish on the big one, and then the small ones are going to be my pigeons. I don’t know if I’ll have time to start tonight, but I can’t wait!
