Any artists out there?

[Oncoming Storm]

I’ve apparently had some time on my hands. The first is the drawing I did for my mom’s birthday. The last two are character designs for the book I’m working on. The lizard thing isn’t actually finished but here we are.

Some "behind the scenes" scenes from my workshop/studio/home office space. Put up a couple of shelves to organize painting stuff on (and the chunk of pencils and markers that don't permanently live in my drawing bag), and a peek inside a painting getting packed for shipping today. Showing off your work is the glamorous part. Keeping things moving in the background takes the most time in my experience.

Decided to work on more animation for my youtube channel.
This is part of the intro to my upcoming animation series titled: Taraja
Episode 1 is around 40% completed, not including the intro.

It's just a rough sketch right now and will looks way better once completed
It's actually a good thing it's only a rough sketch because I absolutely hate the back. Everything else looks good.

Had to watch so many dog videos to use as references.

Wow, those are truly beautiful! I didn’t know you could do super realistic stuff like that with acrylics or watercolor.

Thank you! Have been painting for many years - only got back into it on a regular basis for about the last eight years - I think the continuing practice helps with any improvement that might be occurring.

THANK YOU! I enjoyed painting them and am happy that others enjoy seeing them. Putting aside the art materials for a while - need to start some vegetable seeds etc.
