Any artists out there?

How do you do digital art? It looks really cool. Would love to try it
I use a tablet and stylus hooked up to my computer. I have Krita on my computer (it's a free download, though I think that you might need to pay to get certain bonus bundles, which I don't bother with), and save the drawings as files on my computer.

Thanks! Ive been bingeing the show all day and I’m almost done with season one! The Scene (tm) from the grom episode was so cute!!
You really did that dress well!
I hope to sketch someone, but I have been busy making a racing saddle pad and saddle for my next Breyer. And it turned out great!

It's japan themeed, since I like anime, I am kind of obsessed with all things Japan....

I’ve done this a few times. Also a good idea but it takes a bit of effort to get rid of the paper color so you can color it in underneath the lines.
I have the photo as the background layer. I lower the opacity of it and then trace over it on a new layer. Once that's done, I just delete or make invisible the background and set a layer between it and the tracing and color that to be the new background.
Not sure how your drawing app works, though, so I don't know if this is possible.

That’s a good technique too!

I love Breyers! I used to collect them when I was younger but they always got beat up and broken, though I wanted to keep them in good condition. I’ve kind of given up on the idea of having a big collection since they are so expensive, but that was my dream as a kid.

That’s what I do too. I delete the photo once the line art is done. I can do all the base colors on separate layers with paint buckets if I want! I do every color on a different layer, sometimes I even separate the layers the colors are on.

I do too! :highfive:
I don't play with mine hardly at all, mainly because I use them for photography, so I wouldn't want them getting banged up. And they may end up being worth something someday! Or I may pass them down to my future children.

But I agree with you on the pricey part, after this new model arrives, I am going to stop adding to my collection for a while.

I have a lot of beanie babies from my late great grandma. She bought a lot thinking they’d be worth something someday. :)
