Started this 2 weeks ago but have been on the road the last 10 days touring the midwest with my folks. Got some work to go on it but it's starting to take shape.

Yes, but it does not look like that, lol. I drew food all over my lecture notes because I hadn’t had lunch yet and I was hungry. My breakfast was homemade applesauce. Good but not filling.

Here's my latest sketch. It's of our gorgeous Toggenburg named Duke. I mostly do landscapes, but this is my first attempt at an animal

Here's another one. I sketch from life, and photos. This is our view from our verandah (I have shown in my introductory post).
It's a watercolour, using water pencils, from the cheap $2 store. Imagine I'd I'd used quality products??

The other sketches are:

• Burnt out mosaic candle.
• Elephant stool I bought from Thailand.
• The cover photo from Memoirs Of A Geisha (my favourite book)
• Close up of the eyes and nose, as I learned a lot about showing expression in the eyes.
• Attempt at a self portrait
