This is my first time working with polymer clay or any 3d medium. I think it turned out pretty cute but both sculpting and painting need some improvement lol

My cockatiel escaped today, and I thought t for sure he was gone forever, but after two hours of waiting for him and coaxing and crying and bribing he finally came back to me. I’m never going to let that happen again, I love him so much and I couldn’t bear it if something were to happen

I usually paint on canvas with acrylic and oil..
I wanted to try my hand at something different...
I found these Mosaic numbers for sale and I have never tried this, I love this idea...
I have been practicing how to cut glass into shapes and how to soften the edges.
I already know I can make the glass any color I want...
Next, I have to figure out how to tint grout to a super dark black color...
The letter N is my first attempt at this. I used some beads and stuff I have in my MISC. drawers...
