I tried mixing a greyish shade using purple, blue, red, and yellow. And I got much more of a mauve shade. But I decided to go with it because purple geese are cooler than just copying reality anyway.
I’m FINALLY done with the mauve shade so I think I’ll set this aside for another day. So glad I decided to paint this in only two colors instead of adding swan and buff geese to the mix or doing chickens instead. (The previous chickens were kinda practice for doing a big, full page project. But those tiny pictures still took me days and days). It takes me long enough to do a watercolor project with just violet, orange, blue, black, and brown! (I think I might do eyes like that but not sure. I might just simplify and do black, or black and blue. Who knows?)

i also made them all little pride themed icons for their profiles due to pride month...that also is very tedious but it's too late to turn back now haha
