Yeah, the real ones are capable of flying 400 mph. It was the first fighter to get to that speed.

I actually saw one in flight once on Memorial Day when I lived in Nampa Idaho. That and a P 51, a P 40, and a P 47.

Kinda, I used to study World War II planes. I fell out of it a long time ago. I still have some knowledge, though.
