I almost always listen to music while drawing/painting. It's funny, I can't read, write, or do much else while listening to music, but it's like my brain goes into autopilot when I'm making art.Does anyone else listen to music to help focus on drawing?
I listen to music while doing basically everything...Does anyone else listen to music to help focus on drawing?
Your drawing skills and eye for proportions are very good. Focusing on increasing contrast and using more colors will improve your art greatly. Learn to find all the different colors in the shadows, reflections, etc. Also, a lot of beginners don't realize that colored pencils can be layered to mix colors, so if you don't have a pencil in the color you need you can mix it yourself! Some drawings I’ve been working on. I’m fairly new to it. Pointers would be appreciated![]()
Same! I can also listen to an audiobook while drawing and I think drawing actually improves my focus on the story! And I manage to make a masterpiece so it must not detract from the drawing! I can also listen and drive at the same time.I almost always listen to music while drawing/painting.
