I'm glad I'm not the only one. I'll just sit there and giggle watching them scratch. It's adorable! Then they'll fling a chip or two at someone's head. Lol. Chicks are addicting I tell ya...

Stupid sometimes, yes, but addicting!

They are very therapeutic.

I think the best word for them would be comical though!

I bring mine outside now and let me tell you it is so funny to watch them run around. One of my girls chases and will kick a ball around. She does it every time we roll a ball to her. I never seen a chicken do that.

I don't think anyone could ever fully figure out a baby chicken. Lol!

I took my chicks outside too for the very first time and they loved it! They didn't want to go back inside. I swear they were like "Mom!!! I wanna stay outside!! Come on Mom!!!" in chicken language lol.

Awww it kicks the ball? That's so cute! You should get a video of that.

It is an instinct to scratch for food. That's what they do in the wild and nothing you can do, other than raising their feeder, is going to deter them from doing that. It is a survival tool for them, even when they themselves cut off their own food supply. Instinct has nothing to do with stupidity.

Hey speaking of taking the chicks outside, when should one start doing that? I'm scared they'll run off. Mine are almost 2 weeks (monday). Should I take all of them (22) out at the same time? EEEKKkk!
