Any Breeders or owners with Greater Prairie Chickens? I really want some!

I don't not mean this in a rude way at all but, you do know that prairie chickens are nothing like raising actual chickens and require extensive care, right? They are not like raising any of the common partridge, quail, or pheasant and require an intense diet of the non usual things, as well as proper housing, maintenance, breeding,etc. I would just rather see the birds happy and you be happy than you wasting your money and the birds be dead. :/

Good point Aldren. Gather all the information about the birds you can from who you plan to buy the stock from. ALWAYS do this!. Then research, research and then research some more BEFORE aqquiring these or any new species. Theres always a reason when birds are rare and/or hard to find, We owe them the correct care at the very least.

Trust me i'm not the person who does that kind of thing! I read about them and their habits, diets, proper caging, etc! I won't get myself into something i'm not prepared for! I hate to see a bird die

man i must get me this birds how more the difficulty of the birds how more expierence it is just playing n video game you start at rookie and end on novice...

hopefully one of our top breeders in this country will import this birds
