Any breeders with low minimum order?

We placed an order with MyPetChicken a few weeks ago. It was supposed to ship today. They emailed and said they had a problem with their incubator, and now the order won't ship until 8/3. We'd really rather not wait that long!

Most other online hatcheries seem to have a minimum order that is much too large for us. We only want 7-8 chicks. Are there any alternatives to MyPetChicken that we could order that number of chicks from?

Ideal has a $20 minium order and I have gotten wonderful chicks from there.

I'd check them out.

Thanks for your reply. I just came across Ideal. When I added up my order, it only came to $17 worth of chicks. I'd be happy to pay them the $3 to get to $20. Wonder if they'll let me do that?

Do you know if they're going to put extra male chicks in the box if I only order 7-8 pullets?

they probably would natures hatchery lets you order as little as 2 but it'll cost you 10 bucks a piece
