A little story...

A father wanted to read a magazine but was being interrupted by his little girl, Shelby. She wanted to know what the United States looked like. Finally, to get some peace, he tore a sheet out of his new magazine on which was printed the map of the country. Tearing it into small pieces, he gave it to Shelby and said, "Go into the other room and see if you can put this together. This will show you our whole country today.."

After a few minutes, Shelby returned and handed him the map, correctly fitted and taped together. The father was surprised and asked how she had finished so quickly.

"Oh," she said, "on the other side of the paper is a picture of Jesus. When I got all of Jesus back where He belonged, then our country just came together."

What's your favorite hymn? Doesn't have to be a traditional hymn.

Mine is In Christ Alone/The Solid Rock -- makes me cry everytime we sing it at church. I also love Amazing Grace.

I'm a Christian, and was baptized last year.
My favorite hymn is, Victory In Jesus. It's from the SDA hymnal.

I have to pick just one?? In the Sweet By and By, In The Garden, I'll Fly Away, Amazing Grace and How Great Thou Art.....among the many.

Is it just me but do you all find that the world is getting more hostile towards folks who profess Christianity? I see this mostly on these forums, not so much in my personal life. I guess I get more exposure to a broad section of the populace on here, so it always shocks me when folks are hostile....people are a little more nice out in the country.

I, too, have been blessed to know His grace. My wife's family from grandparents down all know the Lord and serve Him in one capacity or the other. I am always amazed at their family gatherings to see how the Lord has worked in their family. Favorite hymn? Well, our hymnal has about 600 of them. If I had to chose, I could narrow it down to two; Wonderful Grace of Jesus and How Great Thou Art.

Won't it be great when we meet on the other side of Jordan and have an eternity to spend with our Lord and Savior as well as each other?

I am a born again Christian, praise the Lord! I am a member of a Southern Baptist Church. I love studying about eschatology and prophecy. I am eagerly watching and awaiting the return of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, which I believe can be anytime now. Either way, if I pass from this life before His return, or I see His coming, I will be with Him for all eternity. AMEN!

I have a 15 yr old daughter, mother, grandparents and a host of loved ones waiting for me to arrive home, and I can't wait to be re-united with them again someday.
