Anybody have any good ideas for combing God, chickens,kids in a out reach? I'm going to try and do a blog but that only goes so far. I've been trying to do something for years. I'm going to try and start something with free eggs.
 
I like your idea, ninny :-)

There's something amazing in seeing a chick hatch from an egg, a new creation.. that could play a part.

Some people would argue that it's all just science, that an embryo can develop feathers, bones, flesh, organs, etc and begin life. They're right it IS science, but an important question is, who's the creator of it all in the first place?

My reasoning for that concept being important is that the secular world seems to be so very much driven toward using science to remove God from the scene... I on the other hand find God and science to be compatible.
 
I'm so glad that this thread was started. I'm not ashamed, but I was afraid that some members would disaprove of me starting a thread about Christianity. Glad to see that's more of us here than I thought.

We are in a series on Wed nite called "Crazy Love" .. we're talking about relationships w/ peers, with family, with God. Last nite he was talking about how God/Jesus "broke quarantine" and walked with and LOVED sinners. And how, just like we will put our gloves and mask on to protect ourselve, we SPIRITUALLY do the same thing. We "love" people, but we want to wear gloves and masks when we do.. and people can tell that's not real love.

Our challenge was to reach out to one of those people that we keep our gloves and mask on around and truly LOVE them this week!

So, how many of ya'll have one (or more) of those people in YOUR lives...?
 
We just started a 4H poultry club...at our church. Can't mention God really, but also can't remove anything from the children's church walls! Posters, Gospel tract in the wall rack etc.

Glad to see someone start this thread.

I asked my Royal Rangers (boys club) last Wed which came first, the chicken or the egg? Got several answers. In truth, God created the BIRDS of the air. Thus it was the chicken, not the egg.

Plus, God would have looked kind of silly sitting on that egg!
