Another Christian here. WE moved away from my church family almost three years ago, and haven't found a new church we are comfortable in. I am finding it difficult, metaphorically, "to keep the log burning, while it is not in the fire". I do online bible studies, but I really miss the fellowship with other Christians.

Hey SpeckledRoo, how have you been? I'm still studying with Les Feldick, almost a year now, and have learned so much!

Hi Robin. Things here are great. I still listen to Les from time to time, but I mainly listen to Richard Jordan or John Verstagen at helpersofyourjoy.com. I am a stickler for the Bible as the exact word of God. I will read and listen to others teaching from many versions, but for myself I use only the Authorized KJV. Right Division is the key to understanding the bible, and studying the word is the only way to know how to Rightly Divide it and the KJV is the only version to tell you to do both.

My father-in-law is a Pastor and so DH was raised in his families church, its been hard to find one where he is comfortable.

We have been attending a local Vineyard Church in our area that seems to be the one for us.

Blessings to everyone. Each and every one of you, (Christian or not) are in my prayers!

I pray that those who have not brought the Lord into their hearts, are someday soon, able to do so.

Exactly. I think was debiraymond is talking about is the way of the pharisees, who were APPALLED at Jesus for loving "those people" .. Full of their "religion", rules, and practices .. so PROUD of who they were, that they didn't have time to associate with people who weren't like them... and judged not only Jesus, but people that followed His way.

Lot's of church folks like that.

We are called to be salt and light to the world.

Blessings!

Imho the way I read it is the way I judge will be the way I am judged I am ussally too busy with my own faults/sins to worry about others problems a coupla a years back I was taught to listen, listen , love, love ever since then I don,t have as much time available to judge others I am ussally too busy receiving grace

As a minister of the word I find it difficult to not make judgements everyday. Let's suppose I meet a man and I want to witness to him about Christ. If he is an Atheist and I want to tell him about God's love and sacrifice on the cross I have made a judgement call about his beliefs. If I meet a Muslum and I discuss the Koran and Allah in comparison with the Bible and Jehovah I have to make judgements. I want people to make judgements about me. I want people to judge me as a bible believer, a trusting believer in the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, God my savior. Jesus put it plain when he said " I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth." Rev 3:15-16. Judge not is a lukewarm term if taken as it is used today.

Gospel of Saint John chapter 5

19 So Jesus made this further reply: In truth I tell you, the Son can do nothing of himself; he does only what he sees the Father doing; ( whatever the Father does, the Son does also. )

20 For the Father loves his Son, and shows him everything that he is doing; and he will show him still greater things so that you will be filled with wonder.

21 For, just as the Father raises the dead and gives them life, so also the Son gives life to whom he pleases.

22 The Father himself does not judge anyone, but has entrusted the work of judging entirely to his Son,

23 So that all men may honor the Son, just as they honor the Father. He who does not honor the Son fails to honor the Father who sent him.

The Father himself does not judge anyone

whatever the Father does, the Son does also

The Father himself does not judge anyone

whatever the Father does, the Son does also

the plain sense of scripture when it makes sens I seek no further sense.

peace be with you I pray your journey goes well

Any ideas how I can reconcile this verse with the fact that I have had 7 miscarriages?

Psalm 113:9 (King James Version)
He maketh the barren woman to keep house, and to be a joyful mother of children. Praise ye the LORD.

No need to go into the medical side of things
