Yes. We don't automatically become sinless the moment we are a new creation in Christ. It's a daily struggle. And think about it...when He died for you and looked ahead and saw you, all your sins were in the future. He forgave you every one, knowing everything you'd do in your life, and when He sees you, He sees His own blood covering your sins.

If you were always in danger of losing your salvation, you couldn't call it "saved"; it would only be a temporary reprieve, a probation. That isn't the case, though some would tell you different. Saved = Safe

It is such a powerful thing to know how many of us are around. Now I want to know my brothers and sisters around the world. It is such a cool thing to read Revelation and picture us all around His throne, giving him praise and understanding each other. Praise God from whom ALL blessings flow.

I want to piggy back on what Cynthia said. We do become sinless in HIS sight the moment we from the heart accept HIM as LORD. That is the beauty of the cross is God accepted HIM as the sin offering so HE sees us as though we were HIS son, because we are covered by HIS perfect blood.

Hiya brothers and sisters in Christ!

Today God answered a prayer for our family, and I am stoked about it! My son will graduate high school a year ahead of schedule! Thank you Almighty Father! All things are possible through YOU!

So, why do other people get into car accidents? I'm a Christian and I really don't understand. I am sincerely asking. Why do other people get hurt or killed in car accidents? Does God not care about them? Is it because they are not Christians? I don't know if I can reconcile that with my idea of an all-loving, compassionate God. If I allow myself to think that he cares whether or not I am in a car accident, I have to think that he doesn't care about all the children that die every day. If he prevents me from being injured, I have to believe that he sometimes does NOT prevent others from being injured. That just doesn't sound like something God would do.

God made the world without sin and without death. With sin, death came as a consequence. God does not kill people. Satan does. When we agree to keep God's commandments we put ourselves under God's protection. Because God is just, he cannot protect us when we disobey him. We are then open to the attacks of the Enemy (Satan aka The Devil). God loves everyone equally, and cares for them equally. But he cannot protect us when we do not surrender to him.
