Any clue on breed of a Rooster that was dropped of at my house

Hi all, love this forum ,
A great Rooster has been dropped of at our house, and
I am not Rooster smart, does anyone know or have a guess
as to what kind he may be, that would be helpful, he is very
friendly and needs a hen!

Sorry, just realized I can't post a picture of him....
he is fluffy , red and has a fluffy white tail...
maybe that is helpfull...
