Any clues to what gender is this 4-5week SLW?

I am not an expert! Now that has been said I am going off what my experience has been with my BLR Wyandottes. I just got into chickens so take it for what it is worth.....My chicks are 7 weeks old and some BIG changes are taking place. Some Wyandottes have a comb that is narrow...pretty much straight. Some have a comb that is narrow then wide then narrow again.....like a shield. The chickens with the shield seem to be turning out to be roosters. Now I don't know this "for a fact", however I am 90 percent sure...their wattles are larger and combs and wattles are more red. Look at the comb and you can get a pretty good idea. Hopefully someone with more experience will chime in and let me know if my hunch is correct. If nothing else it will bring your post up again.

Any thoughts on the shape of the comb? Is this a good indicator?

I thought maybe too, on redness of comb, but it seems a lot of Wyandotte's have a bit darker red comb in pictures I have seen. But obviously that is why I am asking..since I am new to this. I have nothing to go on other than internet pictures. LOL So I humbly bring it to the experts.

My chicks combs didn't seem much different in color until this week. I noticed the the shape was different though pretty early on.....by week 3 or 4 or so. Now the ones with the "shield" shaped combs are deffinetly more red colored! My 2cents ...for what it is worth. Do your chicks seem to have shields or straight combs?

I'm not sure? I'm not exactly clear on what you are describing so I almost can see both when I look at it. LOL Do you have pics of your chicks????

I don't have updated ones but I can get some. Give me a bit and I will post some.

"Shield" looking comb. Definatly a rooster!
Next pic is a head shot of this same bird
